Seven Precious Gems,
Perfect Skin That Glows!
Have you ever wondered what the hype about mineral make-up is all about? Here’s the lowdown on mineral make-up – what is good for your body, will also be good for your skin! We take mineral supplements to improve overall health and wellbeing or address specific mineral deficiencies in our body. The same skincare benefits can also be reaped with the application of mineral skincare and make-up on our face.
This autumn, Cyber Colors launches its makeup series called the GEMSTONE COLLECTION. The initial launch for this series consists of a compact powder, pudding foundation and a hydrating face spray.
With the emphasis on GEMSTONES, Cyber Colors combines the benefits of SEVEN precious gemstones into this exclusive new series! The combined power of Pearl, Diamond, Tourmaline, Ruby, Coral, Amethyst and Jade is the essence of this new series by Cyber Colors.
Let’s find out the awesome-ness of the pearl, diamond and ruby first, shall we?
PEARL comes from the oyster. This is common knowledge, but does one really know what pearls REALLY are and how they come about? Let us enlighten you.
Pearls are created when a foreign object, such as a grain of sand, finds its way into a pearl oyster. The oyster will react by coating the irritant with layers upon layers of its pearly substance known as ‘nacre’, which gives the pearl its unique appearance and iridescent beauty. This unique relationship gave birth to the natural pearl that we, girls, go crazy about.
And why are pearls and pearl powder so loved? Pearls are rich in amino acids, calcium and not forgetting, magnesium, thus pearls can keep our skin fair and radiant! Besides, it is also very effective in reducing scars and redness.
Moving on to our second key ingredient, the DIAMOND powder!
Diamonds are ALWAYS a girl’s best friend, a girl’s most wanted, most desired jewellery item…Now, Cyber Colors brings you diamonds as one of the key ingredients in the Gemstone Collection *squeals*
You might go ‘So what?’ Well, this powder effectively diffuses the shadows caused by wrinkles, optically diminishes appearance of fine lines and gives us instant youthful skin. All this can be achieved due to the light-reflecting diamond particles contained in this new formula.
How are diamonds formed? Here’s the skinny on it!
Most natural diamonds are formed at high-pressure and high-temperature conditions existing at depths of 140 to 190 kilometers in the Earth’s mantle and are brought close to the Earth’s surface through volcanic eruptions and it cools down into ingenuous rock formations known as kimberlites and lamproites. Alternatively, diamonds can also be produced synthetically through high-pressure and high-temperature processes which resemble the Earth’s mantle.
To those who are born in the months of October and November (mid Oct till mid Nov to be exact), your lucky gemstone is the RUBY, which is also available in this collection. All the more reason to bring these products home, ya? *winks*
Real pretty rubies can be found in Myanmar (Burma) and quality ones are extracted from places like Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Thailand, Vietnam, Kenya and Afghanistan.
So how does ruby or ruby powder work its wonders on our skin? Ruby powder revitalizes our skin =) This is achieved through stimulating and regulating microcirculation, which enhances the contours of our face too! Talk about killing two birds with one stone! Not only does it revitalise the skin, the harmonised circulation effects on the skin also help reduce redness and blotchiness that some of us might face on their skin. Now, here is the answer to skincare woes!
We did say SEVEN, didn’t we? We’ve already shared the miraculous wonders of three gems in this post, and… more facts on Tourmaline, Amethyst, Jade gemstones and Coral Powder will be coming your way. Stay tuned for our next post and you’re good to go – equipped with all the knowledge and facts about our new collection, knowing what you’re applying on your face and how it benefits your skin!
