We are back! In our previous post, we covered three out of our seven precious gemstones used in the Gemstone Collection and here we are today, to follow Part 2 of ‘7 Precious Gems, Perfect Skin That Glows!’

Are you ready to learn more about the multi-colored Tourmaline stone, the violet-colored Amethyst stone, benefits of coral powder and the power of Jade powder?

*let’s go!*

Tourmaline comes in pretty colors such as blue, yellow, pink, red, black, green and clear. Being a semi precious stone, tourmaline is made up of borosilicate mineral of complex and variable composition, which explains the variety of colours.

Being ground to powder form, the tourmaline powder enhances the skin’s radiance by revitalizing skin and removing dull-looking skin. Found in both the Gemstone Collection’s compact powder and pudding foundation, it also aids in reducing the appearance of fine line and enlarged pores. I will be reviewing this two awwwesome products in a little while (by the end of this post) *winks*

Moving on to our next stone, it is the classy-violet looking Amethyst which is a variety of quartz that is often used in jewellery-making. Amethyst occurs in primary hues from a light pinkish violet to a deep purple due to the presence of manganese, but further studies showed that there is a complex interplay of iron and aluminum, responsible for the colour changes.

Just like the grape (which so happens to have a purple variant as well), Amethyst’s enhanced anti-oxidant properties helps prevent skin’s aging and fights against skin impurities. The Amethyst powder works wonders on the skin texture as it activates blood circulation and freshens the skins, revealing radiance and clarity of one’s skin.

The last gemstone used in this Gemstone Collection formula would be the Jade. The Chinese believe that this stone is a healing stone due to its color properties, a stone that is used to attract love, a stone that is able to attract wealth and also a protective stone. As for the English men, they perceive the Jade gemstone as a unique symbolic of energy-providence. But how does Jade really benefit our skin?

Jade powders with its purifying properties helps in skin cleansing and its unique healing properties aid the skin in expelling harmful toxins and metabolic waste. This then restores vitality to our skin and evens out our skin tone just like that! Awesome much?!

Now on to the last ‘pseudo gemstone’ that we use for our awesome formula, which is the coral powder. Yes, it’s not a gemstone but what it does to our skin is as precious as what other gemstones do to our skin, trust me! Do you all know what are corals and how they are formed?  They are marine organisms living in compact colonies of many identical individual ‘polyps’ which secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton. Thus corals are naturally rich in calcium which nourishes and rejuvenates our skin and also helps in maintaining healthy skin. See! Just as good as the other 6 gemstones right?

Who wants all the effects of Cyber Colors Gemstone Collection on their skin?!  Me! I believe that I speak for most, if not all ladies?

There! All the facts that are always fun to know, and it is important for us to understand what kind of ingredients are present in a product that we use, to see whether it suits or benefits our skin or not.

Below is the sneak peak of our next blog post!

Stay tuned!  xoxo

[...] She then told us that this compact powder comes with SPF 40 PA+++ which gives further protection from the hot scorching sun of Kuala Lumpur. This compact can be applied dry or wet, giving a silky-soft touch and creating flawless looking skin, as well as hiding skin imperfections and blemishes at the same time. That is just what we girls need right?! Yuen Yee then highly recommend us to get it at Sa Sa for only RM89.90 because it contains a special formulation which comprises the seven precious gemstone powders (I guess that’s how the name came about right?) that I mentioned here before [...]
