- Introducing… Neogence [Part 3]
- Introducing… Neogence [Part 4]
Remember we were touching abit on WHAT THE NEOGENCE BRAND STANDS FOR? Other than its brand philosophy, we think it’s important to drive home the point that Neogence believes firmly in HYDRATION.
No matter what skin type or condition you have, be it dry skin, combination skin or even oily skin, you will need a sufficient level of moisture in your skin in order to have problem-free and supple skin that glows and glows. However, your skin type and condition can influence your choice of suitable skincare products used to hydrate your skin. A wrong choice can make your skin suffer, whilst a clever choice can mean a heavenly(!) different to the way you look.
Neogence believes in products that works, products that delivers, and Neogence also believes that skincare regime needs not be overly complicated.
Like you’re reading so far? Great! Coz so do we! So, Part 3 of the Neogence series will tell you why hydration is so important, alrighty?
HYDRATION
ONE OF THE BASICS TO HEALTHY & RADIANT SKIN
It is common knowledge that hydration is the key to healthy and radiant skin, and yet not many people actually take the effort to ensure that their skin is hydrated at an optimal level.
The Neogence Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Series of products have been specially developed so that it’s easy to use on a daily basis and its products have been developed with a holistic approach to boost and retain the water content in our skin. Basically, Neogence products ensure the three important steps of hydration, namely, water is replenished, water is retained and water is locked in.
Years and years of research and clinical experience have proven that one of the basic criteria to having healthy skin is a good level of water content. Indeed, some of the most common skin problems arise from dehydration. It is important for the skin to be sufficiently hydrated; otherwise it will result in dryness and roughness, you will also be more prone to problem skin.
Symptoms Indicating the Varying Levels of Skin Dehydration
As you can see from the above, you can encounter a whole host of skincare issues when your skin is not getting enough water, and not being able to retain and lock in the water.
It is not enough to just apply a moisturizing product, because even if the product is packed chock-a-block with the most fabulous of ingredients, it is also about delivering these fabulous ingredients to your skin where they’re needed most.
Therefore it is important to not just look at the ingredients of a skincare product that can solve whatever skincare problems that you have, you also have to check out how the product aims to deliver and transport the goodness from these ingredients to your skin.
So yes, we’re effectively saying it’s not just about the science of the ingredients, it is also about the science of hydration where we look at the technology to allow the ingredients to the deeper layers of the skin to carry out repair work. And it’s also about making the water content and those fabulous ingredients stay and not evaporate from the skin prematurely.
In our next post, we will look at the technology for hydration.
