Hey, remember that we’d mentioned the new makeup range, Gemstone Collection from Cyber Colors in our FASHION ON THE TURF POST?

Yes, we’d touched a teeny weeny bit on how Sa Sa had invited celebrity makeup master, Mr Kazuya Haraguchi, all the way from Japan to KL. Now Mr Haraguchi has collaborated with Cyber Colors to create the revolutionary & exquisite texture in foundation; yes, the Aqua-Base Pudding Foundation from the Gemstone Collection has been developed with the guru’s help.

Made from seven precious gemstone powders (Pearl, Diamond, Tourmaline, Ruby, Coral, Amethyst and Jade), this exciting new range of makeup collection is both makeup AND skincare! Why did I say that? Because the Gemstone Collection is essentially makeup that cares for your skin.

Click HERE and HERE for the low-down on these magnificent gemstone powder.

Now back to the Gemstone Aqua-Base Pudding Foundation

Consisting of powder extracts from seven precious gems, this pudding foundation achieves purifying and cleansing effects through gemstone healing and magnetic therapy. This helps to soothe, regulate and balance the skin, unveiling an instant healthy glow. With its water content significantly higher than the usual oil-based foundation, it also hydrates and refreshes the skin.

Yes, as said above, Cyber Colors’ Gemstone Aqua-Base Pudding Foundation is makeup and skincare combined into one.

Shades: Ivory / Natural / Honey

* Makeup that lasts and lasts
* Soft yet supple feel of PUDDING with 3D effect
* Regulate facial oiliness and restore (moisture) balance
* Over 75% water contents, giving your skin a light and refreshing feel

On 29th Oct 2010, Sa Sa had organized two Cyber Colors makeup workshops, a morning and an afternoon session. The theme for those two sessions were, aptly, Japanese Look Makeup Workshops, keke!

Here are the event details and mechanics,

Curious to know what the Welcome Gift Pack consisted of? Well, All the participants went home happily with these uber-cool goodies: Gemstone eyeshadow palette, Gemstone blush wear, Gemstone silky glowing rouge and the Megacurl Mascara.

Conducted by the highly skilled and talented Mr Haraguchi, there was an air of keen anticipation and excitement in the air as we were preparing the venue to receive the workshop participants.

After the opening talk and welcome note from Sa Sa, Mr Haraguchi proceeded with the two makeup demonstrations, namely, the Tokyo Gal Mood and Too Much Cawaii.

After the makeup demonstration, the participants were given face charts to draw out either one of the two looks. Of course, they had to do so with the makeup items from Cyber Color’s Gemstone Collection.

Here, Mr Haraguchi is seen checking out the participants’ ‘handiwork’, keke!

Three winners were picked and each of them received a Cyber Colors Brightense SPF50 PA++ Aqua Protection Lotion. And yea, picture time!

A group photo with Mr Haraguchi!

Participants were also given a chance to ask Mr Haraguchi questions about makeup tips after the group photo session. The Q&A session was a lively one with the participants taking the opportunity to learn new tricks on how to wear their makeup better. The session ended and light refreshment was also served.

The program run-down for the afternoon session basically mirrored that of the morning session. So yea, we’ll just put up some pics from the session to share with you.

Mr Haraguchi kick-started the session with the Tokyo Gal Mood demonstration. He had used the Gemstone Collection eyeshadow palette in Blue Diamond for the eyes.

Ahhh… the master at work!

Mr Haraguchi shared a makeup tip during the session. Wow, the Cyber Colors Gemstone Blush Wear can even be used on body! He explained that this blush wear has colours that are in four gradients, including the highlighter. The shimmer in the powder can make our skin glow!

Next, he moved on to Too Much Cawaii.

Whoa, so the participants for the afternoon session had hands-on practice instead of drawing on face charts! Nice!

Mr Haraguchi going around the room to select the winners, yes, the three participants who had interpreted the look well.

ZZANG…! The three winners from the afternoon session!

The group photo!

So now, that’s a wrap! We hope that you’ve enjoyed the sharing, and we hope even more that the next time, we will actually see you in person at our workshops and activities!

As for Mr Haraguchi, we trust that he had a fun-filled and eventful trip to KL, and we’re definitely looking forward to working with him again!

Yours in Pink,
The Shiny Happy Peeps
